bhaaji nowdays miserably out of form. moreover he attitude and charecter will not inspire young players in the team. he shud announce retirement and start sitting inside the commentary box. it's sad that most of our cricketers does not pave way to youngsters and wud like to cling to team till they are forcibly dropped
Do you all remember that Ganguli once selected a wicketkeeper known as Deep Dasgupta? Was is on merit or regional favoritism? One should not throw stones at others while living in glass houses? What Ganguli achieved while having a quartet like Sachin, Dravid, Laxman and Himself. Add Sehwag to that he should have been made team India like Steve Waugh's Australia.

Disgusting an all seasoned lovingly known "Bhajji" is being ignored. Similar is the disgusting matter of Vice Captain finest Opener Gautam Gambhir. Is it fair - it has to be evaluated for the absolute satisfaction of game cricket and India all over. Whims do not weigh. India suffered badly in South Africa & Newzealand matches due to their non inclusion in the team. Who is to fill up the gap of not sending talented, experienced and renowned players from whom opposite teams go berserk planning their strategies. BCCI and selectors needs to be judicious lest Mr Saurab Ganguli and First World Cup Winner may be requested to come on the Board of selectors. I absolutely agree with you buddy and also all the seniors like Yuvraj/Sehwag/Hbajan/Gambhir was sidelined by Dhoni with his attitude if he maintins good relations they would have been still in Great form

why even bring back dravid, sachin,saurav & vvs cycle will be complete. Also if possible gavaskar, we can never get a batsman like him.

Lean period comes in the life span of everyone whether cricket or his / her own personal life. We should have courage and guts to respect players and not to dismante them abruptly without any future. They are the bones of criket body and bones cannot be sacrified that they need maintainance and repairs with time.Who is 100% perfect in eternity. Pre & Post Ganguly's era the selection was always common to have favourism based on the BCCI Chief & Chairman of Selectors.............. I can see only in Ganguly's era he opted for selection based on IMPACT of the player.
I am not sure if any one knows Ganguly used to scout for talent by attending ranji matches (Stadium) that is how he has HAND PICKED Yuvraj's/Zak's/Hbajan/Sehwag's at the early Age and backed them
