This series will be remembered more for the diametrically opposite effects to the extent of becoming turning points on the cricketing careers of the two captains-- Mccllum and Dhoni. Suddenly McCllum has become the toast of the nation and has joined the elite club of the ranks of Kiwi greats like Martin Crowe with his record triple century. For a batsman who was known more for his slang bang type of cricket in shorter version of game the turn around getting headlines like “…birth of a nation…”in media is simply unbelievable and was never expected.
