for eng and aus tours where dhoni will become first captain ever of world to lose 20test matches away in just 4years. WC2015 will be the nail in coFFIn and thn Indian cricket will get r!d of this useless flattrack batsman and poLITi(ian captain who didnt play even 10good innings OVERSEAS against quality bowlers and in asia too he played only 4-5good innings UNDERPRESSURE when others didnt set a platform for him. In int t20 too he is a biG fl0p n cudnt score even a single half century and has pathetic SR.
Lets hope that this uSEless playER will be kiCKED out after WC and that day will be a great day in history of Indiam Cricket.

MSD meredost, I believed that SRT will do well in NZ during the last tour (2008 or 2009, dont remember). He did not disappoint, but to tell the same in 2014 would be unrealistic. I even had a brief hope that he will "click" again in the test series against Australia in 2013, which did not happen.

Yes, but I was speaking about SRT's 160 in Hamilton in which India won. Since the topic was SRT, I dint include Harbhajan's 6 wicket haul in the 2nd innings.

correct. but the importance of bowlers increases manifold in tests. we had zak & bhajji performing consistently, even in the match you point out, you have 6 wkt haul by bhaj in the nz inns that followed. i point the bowlers, because the op said you need sachin, frankly see the scenario in this test and let me know whether you needed a batter or a bowler at the basin?

this is one of the reasons i don't want mccullum to declare after reaching triple, continue to torment the happless team indian bowlers...keep dhoni in the field for as long as possible ...trust me this does a lot of damage to the psyche of a team which has been in the field for so long ..and was even staring at inns victory at stage!

Why you are do fixated about his century. He is doing his part what happened to others why they are not contributing..? we need sharp bowlers that is the only issue here.. we always had this issue before and we will continue to have in future also unless we fine sharp bowlers
BTW, why you compare few just fellows with Dhoni.. and also your name suggests that you have some mental issues .. go get it checked before it is too late
Irrespective of the conditions, with the lead of 200 and early breakthroughs in the second innings as well, we should have sealed the match by now. There must be something wrong with planning. Dhoni, though he is one of the good captains India had ever had, seems to be failing to make right bowling changes and allows things to drift from his hands. He is not making things happen. His ultra cautious approach may suit one dayers, but certainly not the test matches. It is a pity that we donot have a right man to replace Dhoni. Till Kohli matures(we cannot afford to lose a player of Kohli's caliber by by hastily loading him with captaincy or some real captaincy material emerges, we have to wait. We have no option.
