Best part of the auction this time around was the young Indian uncapped players getting good money. IPL governing council is to be congratulated for bringing in this all important change of transparency in payments. It was heartening to see talented youngsters like Kedar Jadav, Rishi Dhawan etc. who have done well in Ranji Trophy earn well. Now coming to individual teams, Vijaya Mallaya has the audacity to pay Rs 14 crs to one cricketer even while defaulting on salary payment to his KFA employees ! And then splurges Rs 60 crs but no one in this country has any guts to question this man! Anyway he has put up a good side and may be this time around they would cross the last hurdle to win the trophy. One good thing about Vijaya M’s shopping list is he has bought lot of youngsters , that is going to be lot of encouragement for young cricketers.CSK as always is a strong side but the shopping list certainly raise eyebrows---exit Murali Vijay,Mike Hussey and enter Brendon MCcllum etc.; really surprising ! Is CSK ownership change in the offing to obviate its scrapping from IPL ?

14 Crores for Yuvraj Singh, and no money left to buy any unsold Karnataka Players. Is Yuvraj really that much better than all the unsold players. Something Fishy here.
Delhi Daredevils have potentially one of the best stuff to get them through to the cup, B U T... big time manipulation of cricket can end up with a "wanted" result: no wonder new ICC rules diktat involves only 3 nations
