I think ISHANT SHARMA is the greatest fast bowler ever played
by on Feb 08, 2014 11:07 PM  | Hide replies

test cricket for any country in any era.

his ability to take wickets once every 5 tests is unparelled.

Even best batsman pee in their pants when ishant runs down to bowl.

Hats off to this great fast bowler.

You guys couldn't defend 450 runs in SA in the 4th inning, here you have given 500 runs in first innning. India need miracle from Batsmen to win the match. Last 15-20 One-days you bowlers have given 300 runs most of the times

Indian pace attack
by mohammed ali on Feb 08, 2014 05:55 PM  | Hide replies

It is after some time that we could see three fast bowler sharing the wickets. Shami has got great potential. He should keep himself fit and work hard. He is the future of Indian cricket. though Ishant took nine wickets in the match he is far from being consistent. He averages more than 38 runs per wicket. Unadkat and Umesh Yadav must also be given chances. Zaheer is in twilight of his career.

He gave the most trouble to the Kiwis. He would have had their batsmen out for smaller scores in the first innings if the team india did not drop catches

Match winner ?
by piri on Feb 08, 2014 05:54 PM  | Hide replies

But it is more probable that India will lose this match than win it!

Why call someone a match winner before even a single match is won?

Nice to see lot of Muslim bowlers on top of Indian Cricket
by girish on Feb 08, 2014 05:07 PM  | Hide replies

I know many will object but latery especially in last decade I see lot of Muslim fast bowlers dominating the India Cricket. I am really proud of these guys like Irfan Pathan, Munaf Patel, Zaheer Khan, and now Mohammad Shami. Is this a cross border 'effect'. If yes then such 'effects' are welcome 'cause I have always found Pakistani fast bowlers much superior to Indian ones

I agree with you sir.Similarly in hockey also Indians were heroes before partition and after partition Indians are zeros. We have potentials but politics and thereby nepotism while selection prevent us from good achievement.

It is only in India that a lot of Muslim bowlers and batsmen can make it to the Indian Team. This shows that sports does not have any religion or caste. And they have taken apart the Pakistani team by playing as Team India. Long live India.

Dear Zaheer! You have denigrated yourself by praising only about Shami. You should have been more balanced and praised Ishant also.

Shami is a different class compared to Ishant. If we did not drop catches earlier in the first innings it would have been a different story. Ishant did do well; don't take me wrong. Shami is a stronger, more athletic and better fast bowler. He can breathe fire and yet bowl line and length.

We need more Shamis.

Where is the denigration. I see large heartedness on Zaheer's part. Everybody knows that Zaheer is a wily bowler who is doing his bit even in his twilight years.

sir,you are right. In a class room when all students except one score less than 10 marks and only one student scores 15 marks,it may appear that this particular student is intelligent in the class. But is it so? The class I mean this country.Readers, I am a Hindhusthani and not from pak.Don't abuse me.
