Bowling

It is really shame that bowlers who are taken exclussively for taking wickets are failing repeatedly to do so in last more than 8 matches played overseas recently. For bowler like Ashwin the last two tours were just for sightseeing. If a pace bowler or spin bowler fails to take or take 1-2 wickets in 30-40 overs in a match it shows that they are not specialised in bowling. I think if such opportunity to bowl 30-40 overs even batsmen like Suresh Raina, Sehwag or Yuvraj Singh can also take those wickets and may be by giving lesser runs. Anyone would have said it rubbish after reading my post two months ago but now it has become a reality that it is always better to take alrounders in place of specialist bowlers when going abroad.

As long as Dhoni and Srinivasan are there

Indian cricket will go from bad to worse, the sole purpose of the duo is not national pride but making the team a daily wager to earn money, with wives in tow to sky dive and enjoy India hitting rock bottom.
