It is disturbing to note that Sachin was awarded Bharat Ranta by Congress Party to enhance its Vote Bank. Sachin has been playing Cricket for himself to make Records and to Earn Money. He is now the owner of Assets of over 1500 crores eben though he is possibly not a Graduate but with a wife who happens to be a Physician! Sachin has been selfish and went on to Play Cricket in spite of his falling Form which denied young players in Indian Team. In any case, he did not deserve Bharat Ratna and it is a disgrace to him and also to the Bharat Ratna Award!

truly an illiterate uneducated person has his own characters. Veer Savarkar, Vasudev Bhalwant Phadke n all such heros of nation r today unknown before bharatratna sachin. I hate this chap.
I suggest BR is not a simple award.BUT it's an identity of INDIA which attached towards sincerity,dedication ,research,contribution for welfare ,social,educational,upliftmen,eradication, of poverty,giving new dimension, in Research,innovation in science n technology,sacrificing life for the Country and,Society,Over all for the Benefit of one and all,not only one sphere of life ,it's not an advertising symbol,We'll it's time that we decide to have a seep rate Awards for such achieves in sports and film industry areas,But BR should not include even Politicians Leaving behind few Yesteryears Founders,builders of a india,
Cricket is number one game in India/Pakistan/Srilanka etc. countries.and hence more money is involved, everybody wants to be cricketer and this game very much discussed. It's becoz of us people, cricket is number one game and hence great player of cricket automatically are chosen one. BUT IT IS PLAYED ONLY in some countries. HOcKEY is played by many nations so DhyanChand had done more hard work. people do not have much interest in hockey. NOW Congress wanted to impress/get support of many people so it is simple logic... - Get Cricketer Bharat Ratan instead of Hockey player.. -Likewise pamper some community only to get votes.. -Bharat Ratna should be given their family so people can remember them.. It is all BS. - Help some people
He is the luckiest **tard on planet earth. He found his passion early in life worked hard on it achieve everything that game has to offer. Now this is icing on cake after millions of Dollars he made tax avoided all the accolades and love from country. I have tremendous respect for the man and great love for his batsman-ship but he is bit over hyped. Now this is going over board. How many ppl have access to electricity in india forget about tv. His only contribution is entertaining india crowd and making lot of money and all adulation in return. What has he done for masses to deserver bharat ratna. It's surreal award that has been fixed now

A shameless person who after earning thousands of crores did no charity when 25000 farmers committed suicide in his home state. After being honoured as Group Captain did not show his respect by attending a single funxtion in the Air Force with disrespect to our soldiers. What good did sachin do for nation n what worth is he as a Parliamentarian to common man. I feel National awards r today compromised as filmfare awards. A national shame to honor a person who lacks charity n gratitude to nation.Its all cheap politics.
