So many talks going on. He is the ultimate man who actually played for records. He was fortunate enough that he is from India instead of Australia or South Africa...Otherwise i wonder...

SELFISH

When i die and have to remember Indian cricket then two names which will always crop up top of my mind are Saching & Gavaskar perhaps most selfish players who seem only playing for their records. Contrary, no body will remember a austrialians with numbers of centuries they have scored but will remember number great victories they achieved in the history of game.

Prasad, Hope you die sooner.

Firstly, India need to get rid of thankless chewt fans like you to start with.

Thats where most our nations problem lies. Absolute lack of respect and cynical attitude towards legends in any field.

Players like Tendulkar are born once in a lifetime. You will never understand this anyways.

Do you mean to say that Virat Kohli is selfless and all of that his Centuries have helped India win series after series ???????

Check the records for yourself and let us know the facts.

Cricket was, is and will always be a Team game - Irrespective of how an Individual performs - The Team should win at the end of the day, if not then everyone's record will be a waste.

Sachin score just 4 runs in 2003 final
by kris bhatt on Dec 31, 2014 10:25 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin just made 4 runs in 2003 final against Australia after Australia gave India a target of 359. That should be his worst time. But then he would rather not talk about it.

final is last game in a long series.. so its not the only score that matters....

You have to realize no other cricketer in the world history had to experience pressure of such enormity as such did. No One. Later, it was other batsman who could do better because pressure was on Sachin or some other batsman. Still later was him lifting the team morale with his exuberance/attitude.

C'mon Man Sachin was great!!

One cannot score each and every match.... look at his over all performance in 2003 and 2011 WC.... cricket is not one man army... its a team game... 2011 everyone contributed and made it possible...

Kris, SRT scored a duck against Lanka and single digit against Bangladesh in 2007 WC.

2003 WC was lost to the best team at that time (Aus). 2003 final was nothing compared to the embarrassment Team-BCCI faced in 2007 after phans pelted stones at their houses and burnt their effigies:)

Is Busy Spewing Venom over the Past Disputes, now that his career is over and his Records are about to become History - I can understand his pain and sympathize with him.

Tendulkar's and my era are the same - One of disappointment and dishonour of every order. But complaining now is no use at all.
