dhoni's retirement
by Rajagopal Rajagopal on Dec 31, 2014 09:38 PM

it is not surprising but quitting from test cricket is indeed a shock, however he is the star of indian cricket especialy in one day & 20 over format, it is not the winning in test cricket if our bowling improves we can win any team that is ...... we can chase any target because of batting but our bowling is very very weak. Let ashwin first conctrates on bolwing especially on overseas and ask him to stop giving talking with media and let him prove in overseas , he has taken as a frontline spinner instead of batting ask him to contrate in bowling, if dhoni leads or virat leads if our bowling improves only we can have the habit of winning especially in overseas as Sir richard Hadlee once said Indian are heroes in India and zeroes at abroad, it is proven fact now, first they have to prove their bowling as our batting is the strength in all format of game.

Recalling Ian Bell after he was clearly OUT in a test match in England despite the series being the worst he had featured in.

It is not the proper time to say goodbye to test MSD. We are really missing U in white. India desperately needs a word class wicket keeper like u.

Missed Legacy

Dhoni's heroics failed in foreign soils. As Chappel said he should have gone from Cricket much earlier. His relationship with Press which bridges between cricketers and fans was not fair at all. He was never on time for press conference. Now also he did not inform Press about his decision. Instead he informed to BCCI.

He is bound to inform BCCI which he did and that's it . The Press should not try to take a seat that they don't deserve. Who are you afterall ? The days of the true journalists have gone and today you are a group of glitterati cheating the public hiding the true news and working for industrial and other mafia and living only for increasing the TRP rating and nothing else . You don't need an explanation on everything .Then Mohan rao, please don't bring the name of that guy Greg Chappel who should be chappeled with chappels hanging around his neck . The guy did not come to make Indian cricket but to break it with a hidden agenda to take the Indian team back to the subservient days of the seventies when he played .That did not work and he was thrown out . don't bring his name as that of a saint . you look to be a stooge of the paperazi , planted to create views .Shame on you if you are a real person.Dhoni would have realized his time is now over and he did it distinguishably , hats off to the guy for what he has done towards betterment of Indian Cricket

It is not imp[ortant to inform everything to media. it is his choice to inform or not . media is not honest. You tell me the name of other captain who got the sucess in foreign soil not even Sachin or gavaskar also

See he was never main-stay of Indian batting, he joined Indian team as WK and batsman who also took over and captained 60 test matches..

There are many who say GC himself is a person lacking balance, no need to go by his words especially when it concerns to players..

As to information, that's the way it goes when it comes to important decisions. BCCI is informed first then a press release will come and it is the practice all over the world. In Srilanka when Mahela announced his retirement without informing their Board there was huge row...

Then why do u expect him to stay back or criticize him now...
And why India didn't win WC of T20 and ODI under other captains and became No.1 in Tests...
