I do not think with change in captaincy, the fortunes of India team would change. In the first instance, the players need to be disciplined - how to bat while batting, how to bowl while fielding and improve in all departments to perform at exceptionally higher levels... as long as we lack this, nothing is going to change... now, lets see what under new captain the players do...
The reason why Dhoni was targeted is becoz he was playing for CSK in IPL, had he been playing for other franchisee nobody would have told anything. Its just that ppl do not like CSK wining. Its clear that people do not like chennai. I still wonder even though Chennai is a part of India why ppl are against it.

He should have sent his resignation letter after defeating OZ in their home turn. This kind of departure will not go down well in history. His income being VP of Srini's cement company and endorsements for various products, will keep him busy for another 10 years.
