Kohli thinks he is the best batsman in the world.he should correct his behaviour and play like a gentleman.I have not heard either tendulkar or rahul dravid involved in sledging.Kohli temperment is most important.

Lokesh- what was on his mind
by Srinivasan Iyer on Dec 30, 2014 01:40 PM

To get selected to play is a great honour. But to throw away the opportunity in such a silly manner twice in a match makes one wonder what was on his mind. I'm both innings he came on when he required to hold his end. Instead he blew it. Is T20 and ODI cricket responsible for affecting the temperament for Test cricket.

Lokesh Rahul

Lot of people from Karnataka were shouting for this guy. It is now proved that he is not up to international class just like follow team mates Uthappa, Vinay Kumar etc. Would have been better had india played Akshar Patel insted of him. He would have scored 20-30 runs and also bowled well on this pitch

Sledging

I do not find anything wrong in giving back to Australians. We Indians normally fear white skins and we accept it at face value whatever they say. If you go to history, Australians are famous for sledging and they are going scot free and not being reported by anybody in the media/commentators and no action is being taken against their players for indulging in sledging. Whereas if any indian player is showing some slight dissent, then he is being banned for 2 matches with fine. Go to the history and see how Glen Macgrath sledges Sachin tendulkar during 1999-00 series in Australia. See how Michael slater sledges Javagal srinath in one of the matches. How Ricky pointing sledges when he was hit in the helmet by one srinath delivery. Our famous commentary team who have not contributed to the indian cricket team -- Murali karthick, sanajay manjraker, ajit agarkar calling sledging by australian players as aggression and if the same is being given back by Indian players, they are saying it should be avoided. If you want to lead a respectable life in society, you cannot afford to take nuances. I fully agree with Virat kohli aggression. Also if you refer history, Australian cricketers indulge in these type of sledging practices whenever things are not going in their way. They will distrupt the other team. In fact ICC should seriously view this and ban few Australian players for these type of practices
