Dhoni had set the trend like giving the opportunity for the young cricketers rather than stick to seniors. India realized ie not only india other countries had followed Dhoni. Really very cool attitude. Thank you dhoni for your tremendous achievements in cricket history. India got a wonderful human being. You have given directions to the younger generations. Once again thank you Dhoni
Dhoni again pulls a rabbit out of the hat, well that is how he had always been, unpredictable, a gambler, doing the unexpected. Well I for one would agree, that captaining the Indian Side in all the 3 formats, with expectations from 100s of crores of people across the world, can be more then challenging. All 3 formats require different mind set, and I do not think there is any body in the world with such a load of captaincy. So proud of you MSD, you have led and led well, and good people ask why and not "Why not"? There is no ICC silverware that is in not in your cupboard and all as captain, wow that is a carrier to cherish. 3 Cheers for you

Zaheer Khan was the last quality pace bowler India has produced. Others like Yadav, Aaron and Shami have pace but no control and are single dimensional bowlers.
In England batting collapsed. In Australia bowlers fail him. What he can do. He got the best results and also Ganguly because of batting success of Tendulkar, Dravid, Laxman and Sehwag.otherwise Dhoni did exceedingly well in his 10 years of cricket
His contribution is phenomenal with his keeping, batting and captaincy. He has taken India to No. 1 status in test cricket and won world cup for one days and T20. Hats off. It will be difficult for any keeper to fill his place so soon

playing all three formats is quite stressful and Dhoni has manage it quite well. We can't see too many wicket keeper captains who have been successful in the long run. True,Indian team has been let down overseas by the bowlers.
