This is the Best way to return the Brickbats thrown at you. In Marathi it is said that whether you give respect to a Tiger or not. He is going to kill you. Therefore, whether you reply to Australians in their own language or not, they are going to use the same tactics and not spare Indian Team from their Fierce Attack. So Go After them. Face them bravely.
Responding to their cat-calls and stooping to their level only shows that the Ozzie's psychological warfare is paying dividends. "Sticks and stone may break my bone but words will never hurt me"..perhaps Kohli and his team would do well to memorize and follow this old adage.

The time of 'turning the other cheek' is long past. Some people only understand the rough language and the Aussies need to take it like they dish it out.

so what we have had series wins agains the aussies in india. As long as we dont suffer a whitewash and go down fighting we are golden.
As cricket is turning out to be a man made dangerous game, arrogance has to be shown when required.Aussies utilise our weakness to intimidation and if it is not checked and given back in the manner and language they understand, they will dominate.Look at their new young captain too.Cricket has been a gentlemans game till these folks made it out to be a rowdy's game.So iam with Virat Kohli for a change, like it or not.

You likd Kohli throwing his rocket to show "aggression"? Good. We will continue to lose abroad then.

you like aus sledging and agression? ok they will continue to lose abroad especially in india then...:-)
Sachin, dravid laxman in thier whole carrier has made their bat talk than mouth unlike virat who uses both. Every thing seems good as long as bat goes well but once bad form hits (like sehwag, yuvaraj)than he will be grounded. He always tries to be too aggrasive in the field which is always not good. He should learn alot from his seniors before becoming a captain.
Kohli is just going overboard. The Johnson throw that hit Kohli & sparked all the verbals was perfectly justified - it was aimed at the stumps but hit Kohli because he was right in front. To be fair to Johnson, he immediately put up his hand & apologised, but Kohli seems to have taken it as a never ending insult. Grow up & stop this lunacy, Virat. Or are you demonstrating your mardaangi to your lady love in the stands ?!

absolutely right.I saw the incident relating to Johnson throw which was genuine and he immediately apologised. Kohli is just trying to be a hero in front of a heroine.

Mr Srinivas,
I’m assuming that you’ve been following Australian cricketers and their sledging over the years – mainly to the cricketers of the sub-continent. They revelled in it as no one, initially, gave it back to them in the same coin. They had mastered the art in such a way that cameras could not follow their sledging clearly.
Now that Kohli has REFUSED to lie back and raise his legs and is giving it back to them….you are objecting? Strange! The Aussies need to be put in their place and be made to realise that they DO NOT HAVE A MONOPOLY ON SLEDGING.
It is not a question of ‘mardangi or showing off to his lady love’ as you mention. It is just an indication to the worst sledgers in cricket that enough is enough. If you dish it out have the guts to take it also.

Australian players have always been infamous for their sledging, hence are you saying that the Indian players should start now ? In this particular series, the flash points seem to have started from the Indian side and my view is that the latest Kohli - Johnson episode is Kohli led. Take a look at the replay & judge for yourselves. Please do not bring in "sledging over the years" as a justification for Kohli's over the top behaviour.

They can continue BECAUSE "Australian players have always been infamous for their sledging..."?
So according to you we should let them continue with their bullying and keep quiet?
Those days are long gone, Sir, that we should cow down to their aggressive ways.
Confront the bully and the it is the bully who will run!
You have commented: " my view is that the latest Kohli - Johnson episode is Kohli led." This is the beauty of the Aussie sledging. They do it is such a manner with their faces down or covered or when passing by without looking at their target.....and so one thinks it's the other party who started it all!!! We need to master their style!

Australians always won matches. And they are still winning matches. India is focusing on the wrong things hoping to get your focus on theatrics rather than the lost matches. End of story.

So what if they win in australia, we do the same in India. As long as we go down fighting and sledging them back, it is full paisa wasool, I have seen ponting yell at srinath when srinath showed concern after he hit ponting with a bouncer, always hated hat sight, give it back to them even if you loose.
