Australia and Indians
by naresh kumar on Dec 29, 2014 02:29 PM  | Hide replies

The difference between Australians and Indians is while Australians clearly know the limits under the rules, because they are using sledging as a technique of Intimidation to win the game at any cost but will never do with an intention to lower someone personally, But Indians are emotional they overstep the line of decency because there's is outburst not a strategy. More over the Australians show their arrogance only on field and against their opponents they are good to general public, but the problem with Indians is that they make aggression as their attitude. They behave very rudely with their fans. I am telling you truth, if someone dont believe then try to take autograph and pic with Australian players and Indian players you will understand the difference. The best example Mr.Harbajan Singh everyone knows how he slapped srisant.

Australia got innings defeats when they played in India. India's solution is to develop good fast bowlers and technically sound batsmen. Duncan Fletcher and Mahendra Dhoni must be eliminated for Indian to win Test matches in overseas tours.

Something should be done at Board level

Surely,I shall not bite a dog it it bites me.Indians should not become indecent if Australians hurt Indians by sledging.
But,what Australians are doing is pure unsportsmanship. There should be sound recording system to check what exactly they are saying. If the remarks are racial or too personal,Australia should be banned from playing test cricket.

question is:: did he racially abused him or just abused him???

BTW brad hogg wasn't banned in the same match as well and indians had recording of his statements from the stumps.. gave the appeal up to save Harbhajan.... It is not like that AUSSIES didn't benefited from it.. they saved one of theirs too....

when your opponent is stronger than you and you are on his turf, then dont imitate him. infact at no point you should fall into the trap. your strategy of aggression should not be same as australians...they have been doing it for many years and comes naturally to them... why should we ape somebody ? cant we show originality even in sport ?

MISPLACED AGGRESSION IS FUTILE !!!
by Satyakam raut on Dec 29, 2014 09:05 AM

Australians sledge , they intimidate , they bully ! Given that the source of the aggression is their need and want to win at any cost , its condoned. However , such practices are almost always backed up by superlative performances which over-whelm their opponents even more . If that doesn\'t happen , it just might be an exercise in futility . The 2nd test match between India and Australia is a perfect example. Mitchell Johnson is picked and teased by Rohit Sharma and Co . He goes on to make 88. Guess Capt. Dhoni needed to tell the boys , \" yes , intimidate......but bowl your heart out !!!!. Yes, sledge and swear .......but field , like its the last test match you are playing in your life . \" Without conviction and purpose , is like a robber shouting and screaming in a bank with an empty bag ......and no gun!!!!
