Our batsmen can pick a trick or two from Virender Sehwag
by Orient Mystique on Dec 22, 2014 03:07 PM

I once read that Mohd Sami, Pakistan fast bowler, tried to provoke Sehwag by saying "seedha bat karo" (bat straight), to which Sehwag retorted, "pahle thum seedha gendh feko" (first you bowl straight!) and kept his cool. We know that Sehwag pulverized Pak bowling and scored a double hundred at Multan.

If our batsmen can condition their mind to look at the opponent sledgers as cartoon characters, then they will have fun and not get irritated.

Johnson feels aggression channelled well can yield good results.

JohnsonBhaiyya,

Our players also get aggressive. But with a difference.

Instead of the opponents, they end up glaring, abusing and then slapping each other.

Johnson should be beaten up on the ground itself if he misbehaves again
