When you are a premiere Indian Batter who had done extraordinarily in the previous Test match scoring back to back centuries,do you really need a DAY-WATCHMAN going ahead of you to keep away from the morning blues/greys.Noe comeon and not be a kido.
How can seniors like Dhoni and Kohli even talk about such excuses??? If Dhawan batted and got out on first ball in the morning, would Kohli sit back?? Dhawan was not making big scores in test for a while and quite possibly it would have been the scenario. Never seen an Indian team whining excuse like this after loosing.

But you got to give credit to the creativity of Dhoni in coming up with such silly excuses after each defeat. Other teams have captains who can bat/bowl, but we are the only team which has a captain whose specialization is giving excuses.
was there no immediate solution for this simple issue?There was no need to ask a key batsman to hurry up and sacrifice his wicket.Immediately Ashwin or Ishant could have been asked to get ready so that all the other main batsmen had time get mentally prepared.
