Class of test cricket is different. Agreed that body expected to win at the begining of the innings. Thanks to Virat & Vijay that the victory came in sight. But after 2/3 quick wickets the remaining batsmen should be able to change gears & deny the wickets. Remember the English tail enders or even ours in the last series in England? Team India probably played like IPL.
India lost due to poor captainship of Virat. Viart should have stayed their on the pitch instructing Saha and others too stay and go for DRAW OR in the last 5-6 overs remaining then to go for WIN.
Rather this test in Adelaide raises ominous sign of ,we no longer are better player of spin.It is really frustrating to see a spinner like Lyon claim 12 wickets and batsman like Rohit,Rahanne ,Saha are made to bite the dust.It is not a victory now we hardly can play pace and spin too.
