India has lost this match.., still reasonable as they were trying to win, as trying to draw would have made aussies ruthless which they are known for. Though lost, all credit to Virat, who faced one of the best attacks on last day of the Test, scored 2 hundreds as captain on Australia something would have never happened before, and led team from front but unfortunately, old habits die hard.. we gifted last few wickets for nothing..
Virat proved why he is one of the best batsmen in the world and also dangerous for opposition.
Umpiring was once again at its worst, while some Indian batsmen also lacked energy and right attitude.
Overall, its a loss for now, but should be a significant gain for future...
explanation not acceptable for loss in cricket,,he shd not have played that sky shot, lot in field for ground shots,he did not interact properly with other low order batsmen to hold crease, it proved he not eligible for captaincy, he is not matured & cool, comment of gavasker is we missed absence of captain dhoni for match finishing. afterall ravi shatri is polluting there, bcci & srinivasan is loitering in supreme court. Why Govt is not taking over bcci?
Even with rain cooperating - Kohli found a way to lose the match..There is a reason teams he captains cannot win anything big -e.g. Royal Challengers Bangalore.
why putting this short for out.u think. i am many type of work.with busy.At the time of student. i will give time. it is not right movement for me. others are what doing . u think this. next coming match 4 player will change.
Kholis boys took the fight, they didn't play for a meek draw. If under Dhoni they would never have played the attacking game. Kholi must be the test captain
India lost because they played a Test like a one day.Rahane was again a big disappointment.Saha played without brains. All praise to Virat and Murali.Hope this spirit will continue. Is Shikhar a Test class player?

Agree with you, they displayed positive approach, and had they tried for draw there would have been greater probability of losing match, as once the australins sniff the opportunity of winning they become better players and play aggressively.
Its a win the other way, earlier Indian teams would have never tried to win the match but tried to drew the match and still they lost.
On this occasion there few things like 5th day un-even pitch, lack of contribution from middle order and bad umpiring were main causes for this defeat..
Its fine Virat bad-luck this time, u had been very good, and will prove to be a great very soon..
Did anyone else be reminded of that match somewhat where sachin and mongia took the team so close to victory and we fell 17 runs short and lost 5 wickets in quick succession?
i know that match was highly different, it was in india, played against pak and sachins back was hurting throughout the match.

Dhoni would have drawn the match and would have made the match dull and uninteresting. As for staying and captaincy skills he has lost six consecutive test series abroad. It's high time the captaincy one tests be handed over to virat.

dhoni lost bcause your all famed batsmen, god of cricket and dravid, laxman, viru, gambhir, kohli, sikhar, rahane, all failed miserably, even to play little known spinners.no fault of dhoni at all.
