We need to keep our nerves
by Gurjot Singh on Dec 11, 2014 12:54 AM

The match is pretty much going to be a draw unless we throw it away. We always knew that our bowling will not be a factor. We definitely have the line up to bat for two and a half day and that is exactly what we are going to do. I expect us to endure two and a half days of relentless Australian bowling. Kohli has the ability and if he does justice to his ability, we will be OK.

needs to be given a decent run as a captain in tests b4 jumping to conclusion.typically commenting as if he is nt a captain material.the series has just started and a long way to go.his excitemnt.agressiveness and ill tmepred are part of his character which may or may nt change in the comming years and it depends on hw he grooms himself with regards to his maturity level as a captain.results do nt matter at the intial stage of a captaincy as he has taken over the captaincy in tests in overseas.jumping to a conclusion is of no use as the current test captain dhoni has neither done anything good in tests in overseas in last 3 years or so.does make any differene at this stage even if loses the test.nothing gr8 abt tht dhoni test captain in last 3 years overseas so why nt persist with kohli further inspite of the results.one positive thing abt kohli as an observation is tht lot of new players are been tested or the bench players during his captaincy which is always gud sgign and positive aprroach rather than clinging on to the same set of players by previous faketest captain irrespective of the results.we need this kind of positive approach with changes when things are not going in our favour.may be kohli is trying such things out which is a gud sign as positive captains hv always been succeful in the long run like waugh, ponting and graeme smith.hope we have our next captain in tht line which wd help us in the long run.but all these are ifs and buts only time will tell

India can't lose..
by Mike Teflon on Dec 10, 2014 11:09 PM  | Hide replies

The ball did little on the first 2 days, inspite of cloud cover and intermittent showers..

OZ bowlers are expected to do well than Indians as many forumers reckon.. While they may be partially true, I'd say that the Ryan Harris n Co are only as good as the flat pitch..

Don't expect Mitch Johnson to rattle the Indians.. Pitch needs to be fastish for the batsmen to be hurried on..

I strongly anticipate a draw..

That public expression of love could have been avoided.. It keeps projecting Clarke as a docile individual..

Enough grieving, Mikey, now stand up as an individual and don't clamor for too much comfort n support.. Unbecoming of a national captain..

Let us hope that India will also bat like this.
