FIRST TEST;IT IS ADVANTAGE INDIA
by damodaran mohan on Dec 07, 2014 05:14 PM

It might not be pleasant or ideal way of getting into a position of advantage but the fact remains it is advantage India at least as far as 1st TEST is concerned. As they say time is the best healer and the aussies will get over the recent tragedy in the coming weeks and months but their game will be affected to some extent in the first outing after the tragedy. Their pace bowling affect could lack the usual intensity due to lack of adequate spontaneity and a carefree mental condition.Similarly the batting also could be affected due should they finjd it difficult to concentrate due to the emotional trauma of the last few days. That way even Indian batters could suddenly become conscious and cautious of bouncers .But overall given that the Indians will be in much better frame of mind than the aussies they certainly enjoy some advantage at least in the 1st Test which they might use it to their advantage.

Oz arrogance at its usual best.. I really wish Aaron and Yadav rip them off with raw pace.

Use a light bat and blunt the attack in 25 overs without conceding too many wickets. Then make the most of the remaining overs.
