Should be made the batting consultant of Team India. He can work on full time basis unlike Dravid, Shastri etc. and help young Indian players to sort out their technical flaws at Test level. Pravin himself was a good technician and has lots of experience as a coach..

ur biggest problem is the fact that we as a group failed to observer the very instant when the manufacturing units have become deprecated the sanctity of the quota. That is fine but the real issue comes into the surface when people start asking things which could have been the aura of the century quite sometime back and never really paid the attention that it really deserved.

Verily we must come together and fight this out and also make sure we are separate when dealing with issues like this.

do not compare tests and ODIs
by ranjit roy on Aug 29, 2014 08:53 AM

the england test series was a revelation. indian batsmen now cannot play spin - they were terrrorised by a batsman who is a parttime spinner - moen ali. a victory in the ODI (or in the series) will not detract from the fact our woeful performance in tests

After the test

victory at Lords, the Indian media used all its cricket reporting space to gush over the newly acquired infallibility of the Indian team. The Indian team, as it has been doing for ages, lost its focus and the remaining tests.

A exactly similar destiny probably awaits the team in the one dayers too!

Raina has worked hard..and thats the result.
by Manoj poojary on Aug 29, 2014 06:46 AM

he worked on his weakness of playing short ball and thats the reason the english camp just failed to contain him and the match just went away from them.why dont the other batsmens work on thier weakness as all of the indian batsmen are not a good hooker or puller of short deliveries.if the other players like dawan, koli, dhoni and jadeja workout out on short balls then no one can stop us in lifting worldcup again in Australia.
