My view oon Pujara's batting

Pujara will learn a lot from the Derbyshire coach and shape up in the manner of Don Bradman and Sunil Gavaskar. The slob Duncan Fletcher did not teach him any special technique to adpt to the English conditions. You will see the difference after the Derbyshire stint. Sachin Tendulkar always knew everything but never applied anything to seek victory for the Indian team. He worked only towards his individual success as a cricketer, amassing a lot of commercial endorsements. Pujara is more sincere as a person and he will not be spoiled by excess financial payment. Pujara has to reduce his back-lift and bat-and-pad gap and tighten his shot selection; he shall make a lot of runs after this change.

on bouncy pitch u need to come out of the creaze when batting. if you are bowler then you need to bowl far from wicket in angle like diagonal in rectanlge. In swinging conditions batsmen will out only when they try to touch the ball rather to play. in swinging conditions you either play or leave. when u play it should be full measure shot not the half measure. Test cricket is all about build up and accelerate model. work hard before reap the the runs.

The Funda is the "Front Foot should move Front and Across" to cover the Off stump. Then only the batsman would know where the off stump is to leave the ball.

In the initial years Dravid did struggle with his flawed technique while trying to leave the ball. But then took a few lessons from us.

You can avoid getting out leg-before-wicket because the umpires are confronted with a major doubt when you are too much in front of the wicket.

You should move your front foot out and across for two reasons:
1. If hit on pads, LBW will be ruled out because impact most likely outside the line.
2. If not hit on pads, ball would have missed the off stump.
But necessary that bat is close to pads to avoid bat-pad gap through ball can go through.
