I don't think anything is wrong with the Indian team. It is the BCCI to blame. Quoting what Kevin Pietersen had said, BCCI should be open to allow its players play in other cricketing leagues. This allows you to get used to the playing conditions and how to play. There was a time when the Aussies and English players had a difficult time playing in India, now they don't feel that pressure, but it is us, the Indian players who are feeling the pinch. Just to get more investment, the BCCI is not allowing its players to go abroad to play for other leagues. See the IPL, all foreign players play for more than 3-4 clubs and they all play for their countries too. BCCI are you hearing?
here we donot have time to experiment much as there is nothing new happening. no quick learning neither bothered about results.. Indian team is hoping more on prayers than plans..
Dravid is always supporting Dhoni and IPL. why does Rahul not say the truth that IPL and hero worship has destroyed Indian cricket. Not just this series. We have lost the tests very badly in last 5 years. We are not capable of plaving Spin either. Indian cricket is in a big shamble.

Under the captainship of Dhoni Indian Team has touched the top spot in One day and 20x20 and 2nd spot in test. Prior to that the following teams only occupy those positions Australia, S Africa, England and India had to compete with Pakisthan & Srilanka. Great batsmen Sachin & Dravid were not willing to continue as Captain. India's Best captain is Dhoni only. Better captains are Ganguly, Azhar and Kapil.

For once Rahul Dravid is absolutely right in his views on appointment of new support staff for the Indian team currently playing in England. Yes it could have been done after the One day series
In corporate world for job we often call a number of people and with the help of even user department -we select candidates and we say he is best suited for the job and then six months down the lane we call the candidate useless and so often we keep extending the probation period. Whose fault is this ? obviousle I say selectors - so too here I see .when we select coach ,manager and even the support staff we get reco from so many and we check (?) their credentials and then appoint them - I hope it is this way . do they conduct some psychological tests also ? BCCI has burnt its fingers so often - they pay huge salaries and perks too .finally when the team under performs - like this time -we balme whole world except the players -we have a well written program for their failures .So often we see many cronies in BCCI and they believe that DO NOT BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS -yES literally they are YES MEN .The way some of thee things are written it is a sickening joke

Its a joke. They are not serious. BCCI is just trying to send a message that they are doing something. Whats the point in making changes for ODI campaign when the failures have bee too many and too often in Test cricket? Why not have a separate team for test cricket along with support staff?
its just a eyewash, India is good in playing 1 day & 20:20. The players lack temperament which is must for Test cricket. We are not winning outside subcontinent, its shame

with over exposure of IPL/T20 most of our players got addicted to T20 format,where money earned is huge,efforts are limited.each bowler have to bowl only 4 overs,10 batsman get only 20 overs to bat,most of the time first 4/5 batsman consume whole 20 overs,rest only sit idle...with short bounderies/setting limitation for a bowler,to play this t20 format a player needs 20%talent,30%temperament and remaining 50% luck..Playing 2 good games will carry him to next 10 failures,non will question....Forget about test cricket,most of our current contracted players will not be consistent even in ODIs..ODI series against England will substantiate my words....Hope good sense prevail upon BCCI and they take Indian Cricket to right direction and stop with immediate effect over exposure of our players to T20,or,have a totally different teams for T20,ODI & test cricket and pay more money to test players,followed by ODI and then T20.
