its just a eyewash, India is good in playing 1 day & 20:20. The players lack temperament which is must for Test cricket. We are not winning outside subcontinent, its shame

with over exposure of IPL/T20 most of our players got addicted to T20 format, where money earned is huge, efforts are limited.each bowler have to bowl only 4 overs,10 batsman get only 20 overs to bat, most of the time first 4/5 batsman consume whole 20 overs, rest only sit idle...with short bounderies/setting limitation for a bowler,to play this t20 format a player needs 20%talent,30%temperament and remaining 50% luck..Playing 2 good games will carry him to next 10 failures, non will question....Forget about test cricket, most of our current contracted players will not be consistent even in ODIs..ODI series against England will substantiate my words....Hope good sense prevail upon BCCI and they take Indian Cricket to right direction and stop with immediate effect over exposure of our players to T20,or,have a totally different teams for T20,ODI & test cricket and pay more money to test players, followed by ODI and then T20.

It should be horses for courses.Different players have different skill sets.Only those who are good on grassy bouncy tracks need to make it to England/Australia.To identify such talent we need to prepare a few such tracks at home before player selection.

Why is this dravid talking about everyone else. He is the batting coach/mentor and should take responsibility for the batting debacle and get out of the Indian cricket scene at once!

He can only coach. But batsman need to implement those technique on Field properly. It is wrong to single out one person or support staff. Accept it players have played badly.

Dravid is not appointed as batting coach for england series. He have been appointed as batting consultant. Coach is different to consultant. Dont blame legend like dravid.
