My role is to oversee everything, all of them till next IPL, then all media, ppl will go mad abt 4's 6's on small flat dead pitches and forget everything abt wat happened in England, SA and NZ.
why all this hype over appointing Ravi Shastri to help Team India? I do not understand. Managing ODIs is a gamble. Test cricket is the real stuff. Make him 'incharge' of the team when they go over to Australia and see if he can deliver! Shastri is a typical opportunist!!!
And we get bowling coach by Mcgrath or Washim who seems to show interest on coaching indian team. Sashtri can look at there is not something bad going inside the team, foreign coaches contributions etc, find a better opening pairs for one day, test match, reduce the work of dhoni to focus on the game and not involve in selection etc
I do not know why? from the day he was selected coach, poor Fletcher had to face only brickbats all along. When the team did well, he was conveniently ignored while others took the credit. Does anyone here honestly think, any coach leave alone Duncan, can control the likes of Virats, Jaddus, Ashwins and Dhonis? Coach, for his own survival needs to turn a blind eye and spare these legends to do whatever they like, the way they like. It's the players who need to be dealt strongly with after all, they are the ones who perform and are responsible for the team's showing.
Now that they found scapegoat, the likes of Virats and Pujaras will heave a sigh of relief and the BCCI would happily feel, it took a corrective action and the problem was addressed.
I really do not understand, how certain people (dummy legends) are persisted with despite repeated failures while some others like Badri are judged by mere 3 innings and axed despite scoring a 50 in one of them? I bet, Unmukt Chand with an average of 36 (against, HP, J&K, Services) will get his break earlier than Baba Aparajit with a healthy first class average of 52 (against much better opposition). That's how, cricket is running here. Mera Bharat Mahaan!
As long as, these spoilt brats are in the team, none can bring about any change. It's time to show them that (by dropping Virat, Jaddu, Shikar), none is indispensable.

point taken. In India, cricket is our religion (like soccer in Brazil) every one can talk about cricket and share their two cents. But the point is like yo u there would millions of different opinion and every might be following certain crickets at domestic levels and want them to be in the Team. So who is the right choice here? Le t the wise man decides and you can only like or dislike their selection. Also sharing opinion is always good but try to do without any regional bias.
