You are discussing his captaincy and Wicket Keeping. He has to bat also. He should not forget that. Most of the wicket keepers are good batsmen. But Dhoni doesn't play Cricket. His style of play reminds me of "Gilli Dand"

Brearley was a great captain and also a lover of India and its culture.In our culture when a wise man is saying something which may not be music to our ears it is important to listen.Unnecessary jingoism on our part and crass commercialism by BCCI and certain senior cricketers hurts India in the purest form of the game.
