bouncing turfs

indians never can play on bouncy wickets. at home they make pitches only for spinners and batsman and so when they go out of home they perish.besides this team looks very weak. no batsman looks as if they are playing for india. it looks like they are playing a formality. Why not give them 80% salary cut and then see what happens? jor ka jatka dhire se lagaiye ....

They way the batsmen faced Moin Ali shows that they can neither face fast bowlers nor a club class spinner,

Incompetent

Basically Dhoni is indicating that we're incompetent to paly at this level especially outisde the subcontinet. Then why not just say so and stop playing rathen than emabressing a country of 1.2 billion people. It's a shame that this "bunch of losers" is the best that a nation of 1.2 billion can produce.

Cricketing minds

Look how England contained players like Vijay, Rahane and Bhuvi who did well in the initial part of the series. That is what good think-tank does.

India should get an Indian manager -- Kumble or Robin Singh or someone in the league. For bowling and fitness, it is OK to get foreign coaches.

time to bury the past. that is what they say. winning and loosing is part of the game.
Time to wrap up your career too.
you play to win or at least give a fight.
so strange that the entire team could not stand for 30 overs.
is this what you people call cricket.

Since Dhoni himself admitted that the batting line up is bad, it is high time to take a overhaul in the Cricket team. Abolish the whole team including the Captain, Coach and the entire extras and try new talents abundant

you sound very cruel but the situation is so bad such solutions are needed..the whole team including coach should be sacked and an entirely new team should be selected..they did not fight at all but crumbled like a pack of cards..they brought shame to the game and country...but don't worry IPL is there and they will charge crores from that...so cheers..

Sack seniors
by shyamsundar on Aug 18, 2014 10:13 AM

The BCCI should drop so called senior players Kohli, Gambhir, Rohit, Dhawan etc as they play only for money in IPL and 20-20 format. These guys are not suited for test level in fast pitches. Atleast give new guys a chance, any how India is loosing, but doesn\\\'t matter if we loose with a brand new team of youngsters and also cut the money from the non- performers. These guys are guaranteed of their money even if they dont perform.

Wash Out
by Adarsh Deshmukh on Aug 18, 2014 10:09 AM

The later part of the series was a plain washout with two innings defeat in a 5 test series.
Mr. Dhoni is a product of shorter version of cricket and has time an again shown lack of leadership in man mangement skills to get the best out from his boys in the longer version of the game.
