The rest 10 players are to be blamed, not Dhoni.

Ganguly, Dravid, Tendulker, Laxman, Kumble are responsible for this, not Dhoni.

Cant believe the results in this final test match.. was in a vacation with family and when I turned up India lost. What the hell. such a shame.. vijay, gambhir, pujara, kohli, dhoni, rahane and the rest... what the hell we were doing.. this team cant stand the era of fantastic 4. Atleast we had match winners. For me test is the teat of your true character and if guys cant imagine, please get a mirror..

Price for sidelining experience
by on Aug 17, 2014 11:10 PM

The rot of Indian cricket started when experienced cricketers are humiliated. The same thing is happening where ever experience is neglected. Politics and most worstly in Science & Technology of our country. Present Govt., should understand this and start giving preference to experience. We cannot blame Dhoni. Just think deeply about whom to blame and you will get the answer.

lucky top order batsmen
by cc man on Aug 17, 2014 10:17 PM  | Hide replies

Our top batsmen should feel lucky that they will be retained in playing eleven for future matches bcoz there are no replacements available to drop them at this point of time. Except for Sanju Samson who can replace vijay

This shows how our cricket infrastructure. Our BCCI believes in spending lot of money for coaches like Fletcher etc as opposed to infrastructure to produce pool of good backup players at international class level

What makes you think any of the potential replacements - Sanju Samson, etc would have done any better?

Problem is that playing on flat pitches, Indian batsmen have no clue how to play quality swing bowling.

I guess all the naysayers now know the value of old players like Dravid, Tendulkar, VVS and Ganguly. They never surrendered so abjectly in the prime of their careers.

Loosing a game has nothing to do with who the captain is.
In last 44 years India hasn't won a single test in England.
Was Dhoni captain from last v44 years.
Mister Cricket is a game of luck, bats man does not know how the ball is going to be played he has split second to make any decision.

You are also retarded. Dhoni wasn't pEe'ng. It was the paper heroes like Kohli, Pujara and Dhawan. Dhoni was the most consistent Indian batsman in this series.

What are you talking about? You probably mean India hasn't won a single SERIES in England in last 44 yrs.

India have won plenty of tests in England including 2-3 in the 2000s under Ganguly/Dravid.

If a Bihari leads the team, fate will be the same. It will be in politics also.

Same mistakes carried from 2011 debacle to 2014 debacle
by cc man on Aug 17, 2014 10:05 PM

When india lost 5-0 in 2011, Dhoni said that our bowlers need to learn to consistently hit deck(that can produce bounce and pace) and pitch in and around center of good length area instead of bowling consistently fuller length away from center of good length area and between good length and stumps area.

But, looks our bowlers performed same mistakes, that is, bowling a length like in india.

Good batsmen will be produced if good bowlers are available. And vice versa.
