Kohli Pujara, Dhoni, are you listening. no just enjoying. You are not Patriots. If you are really one fight let us see. take it as a challenge. win if you can or give up cricket. Its either a do or die. there is never a tomorrow

Learn art of consistent batting from Kumar Sangakkara
by cc man on Aug 17, 2014 10:17 AM  | Hide replies

Every batsman in the world should learn the art of consistent batting in all conditions from modern Bradman and asian batsman Sir Kumar Sangakkara. This man makes batting look so simple whether in English or Australia or SA pitch conditions against all types of bowling. I dont know why people regard Tendulkar as the best etc. Sangakkara needs to be hailed as the best. Look at his batting ave 59.00 lot better than kallis and tendya

Hail the the modern Bradman Kumar Sangakka

This batsman has a triple and 10 double hundreds as opposed to over hyped Tendulkar who has only 6 double hundred and no triple at all

Dear CC the same men can not play short pictehd ball on slow SL track too. Dont compare Tendulkar as he is complete batsman . Yes last few years were not good for him. Also being left hander is always advantage . If you are slightly good player , you look great. Dhawan is good example of that. If Sl has played five test series without snaga and mahela , they could have perform worse then this . The real issue we lost all our batsman and bowler in one shot . Only Ishant and dhoni are exp and they are doing well.

Everybody has a bad day, agreed! But, not collectively Ashwin.

This England attack comprises of only two quality bowlers and in that, one isn't 100% fit and both are overworked and tired. This is the real stock of our legends, heroes. This is what they're (The Kohlis, Pujaras, Rahanes, Ghambirs, Dawans...) really made up of. One can escape saying, "lean patch", blah, blah, etc., only in the case of one or two batsmen failing. But in this case, barring the captain, everyone else is failing. The promises shown early by M. Vijay and the tail isn't also lasting any more. This is probably the weakest attack England ever possessed.

Problem is only with us. We made some ordinary mortals, cricketing Gods, Legends, offering them placid belters. Let us not try to escape finding reasons like, Anderson incident (what Anderson! call it uncultured, illiterate Jaddu incident), few poor umpiring decisions, etc., Let us accept the fact that, our team in only slightly better than Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. Let us shun cricket and do better things in life.

Btb, Ashwin chasing the ball (running like Bolt!?!) tickles my rib more than a Mr. Bean or a Chaplin comedy does... Shed 10, 20 kgs and work on your fitness or quit the game Ashwin.

The real culprit is our own BCCI. Earlier all greats were playing county cricket once in while so they know handle swing a bit . BTW england in practice matches the wickets were flat . No movement. IPL has destroyed. But former players can not speck as they get money from BCCI and some of them are mentor of IPL franchise .
