whn captain dhoni himself is a b1g_non_performer, wht example he wl set for the team . For the frst time dhoni has made 250runs outside India in last 10yeras and 16test series. this shows he pEes on fast n bouncy pitches. sm (hew_Tiyas lyk sunil_vaidya keep bark!ng to defend him n calling him a great player, but fact is dhoni is the most nonperformer player of all time who cudnt bat even 10overs on fast n bouncy pitches. no wonder his average in aus,wi eng n sa is only 18,22,28,33...

One thing Indian Cricketers must Understand that when they travel to England during June to October the Conditions are very different from India, for that they need good amount of time to play side games and practice in nets,the weather, The Pitches,is very very diffractedent from the sub continent,moreover,most of our Key players are interested playing shorter version of game,reason best known to them only,England weather ,and pitches are very very different from Australia,or South Africa .Here the Importance of Test Cricket so does the responsibility of Coach come into the light in view of English Tour,Iam sure the Result of One day Matches will be positive from the Test matches Result
India deserve defeat. They should stop conducting IPL. Our batsmen hit sixes in IPL and appear to be world class batsmen. Lot of money and match fixing. BCCI should stop IPL so that Indian team is saved. Else, it will be like this.

There seems to be some indiscipline in the Indian team. Is Dhoni being targeted by some players deliberately? Why is it that there have been so many strokes giving England catching practices in slips?

all players are sons of dhoni and are supported as if they are his illegal kids.you mean dhoni is a fool?mind that you dont have seniors or people like sehwag to blame.
it was a bad job..but dont blame the cricket team for the problems of India. Problems of India done by the MEDIOCRE politicians,municipal officials, bureaucrats,government officials. This is where we have to IMPROVE!! (cricket team has done above average in last 20 years..hope they bounce back)
Our team is not trained to play Test cricket. In any case, playing 5 days of game with a potential draw results is not a 21st century game. Let us focus our energies where the future is. T20 is more suited for weekdays and 1-days for weekends. I don't see a place for test cricket in this generation. If some countries want to preserve their heritage so it be. There is no reason for India to be part of this test cricket. T-20 can truly transform cricket into a world game and India should lead this effort.
Barring players like MuraliVijay, Ajinkya, Dhoni, Ashwin, Ishant, Bhuvaneswar, all other players including the proud Virat should be unceremoniously dropped unless they perform good in domestic cricket. No mercy should be metted out on historical achievements. Unless we axe players by giving 4 innings to prove, we would continue to lose shamelessly like innings defeat, within 3 days, scoring under 200 runs in every inning etc. Bring out people like Rayudu, etc who are performing well with Xi teams in Aussie etc. We can build with them. The players who assume guaranteed place should be taught a lesson. No extra benefits no extra privileges. This is purely a commercial game where no charity is entertained. Replace an aggressive coach like Kirstein and not sober character like Duncan.
