on 68th Independence Day Dhobi has gifted Indian cricket one of the darkest day of its history...Dhobi and Srini Injected venom in Indian cricket. Now its bleeding.. All Good work done by Dada, Sachin, Dravid, Kumble, Laxman went in vain...
We must note a few things amidst the gloom at the Oval: 1. Our cricket may be hopeless but take heart from a brilliant chess and archery show by our sportsmen last week on the world stage
2. Salute Dhoni who changed his batting style and adjusted his tactics brilliantly to compensate for his spineless top order. Even if he is not Capt he must play for another 3 years at least
3.This team has done one better than the 2011 Sachin-Dravid team by actually winning one Test, though I don't agree that they did well in NZ and SA.
Maybe they will learn by the time they reach Australia.

Most of these players will do well in Australia because there is no swing. It's only pace and bounce and the ball comes on nicely to the bat. The biggest challenge for any young new cricketer is to do well in England.
I remember one match played between west indies and India at kalkatta some where 1856 West indies scored 617 runs for 6 wickets and india was ripped of for 98 and 102 Gilchrist Wesley Hall were the reason.
I am technically not an Indian anymore, but it still hurts to watch a spineless show like on Aug 15, 2014 by Indian cricketers. The problem is that Indian teams are not good at any other sport, so the fans have no choice but to support their only viable sports team. In the US pro sports does well because they are competing with other sports for fan support and money. If India develops other viable sports, then cricketers will be more responsible.
The only people worthy to be in your life are the ones that help you through the hard times and laugh with you after the hard times pass.
Today was the day India achieve freedom from British, British surrender India and left the country. Same day after 68 years, IPL flat track bullies surrender to English bowlers..
This is not a good team at all... Dhoni must go in Test. Enough is enough just not good for this level

Dhoni is the greatest captain we ever had. Take away his runs and I do not have to spell out the rest. This is utter failure of our top order. We still have a good chance as along as we can restrict England to under 250.

Sameer: sadly, Indian public memory is short. The moment one of these guys makes a good score on an Indian dustbowl, the public will forget these failings.
