I abs agree with you, against the ferocious bowling of England our players are fighting (and hardly winning) they deserves all kudos and cheers..they not only deserve awards bt also bharat ratnas..

I wonder why BCCI has not recommended Mr. Srinivasan's name for Padma Vibhushan for his "meritorious" service to cricket in India as Chairman of BCCI & owner of CSK

It should have been for BHARATRATNA,also include SHEILA DIXIT. Does anybody care when most of these awards are given forpolitical mileage
What he has achieved for recommending him to Padma Bhushan award. He plays cricket for his livelihood. There are many deserving candidates who are more deserving than him. By awarding Bharat Ratna to Sachin. They brought disrespect to the Bharat Ratna award. It is given to eminent persons not to the cricket players, which is played only in doze odd countries.
I guess these players would feel let down by this Award as they were expecting Bharat Ratna considering their recent performance, including the ones in England
IT WILL BE NATIONAL SHAME IF THESE SPORTS PERSONALITIES ARE HONORED WITH THE SAID AWARD. NO DOUBT DO NOT DESRVE SUCH HIGH RATED CIVILINAN RECOGNIZATION AT THIS HOUR OF SHAME AS NON PERFORMERS.

YES, IT WILL BE A WASTE. EVEN IF THEY ARE AWARDED THEY SHOULD POLITELY REFUSE ADMITTING THAT THEY DO NOT DESERVE AND SOME ONE WHO DESERVES SHOULD GET THIS
