Selectors the most destructive force for Indian Cricket
by Dams on Aug 13, 2014 03:46 PM  | Hide replies

Our selectors are not able to fish good fast bowlers, can you believe India don't have fast bowlers who can bowl at 150KM/Hr. All this corrupted selectors don't want Indian cricket to cherish. Also dhoni not allowing in form Naman Ojha who scored lot of runs in Australia, he is to be blamed for this scenario

I completely agree. In such a big country we dont have a bowler who can even bowl consistent above 140. Look at England even their Jordan bowls much faster than Pankaj, Shami, Ishant.. So selectors, poor life style of players is to blame.

Shameful defeat if Indians in England
by AKPC Swain on Aug 13, 2014 04:16 AM

IPL matches hosted by india every year have spoiled the test match spirit of Indians. They wiil think about filling their pocketswith money and have no regard for country's prestige. The IPL matches should be played among retired players to make their retired life healthier.

come on India !
by Manoj poojary on Aug 12, 2014 02:10 PM

one thing i always admire about our earlier team, that they used to always fight out of thier skin when there is a match with pakistan or england.they used to get emotionaly involved so they used to give a tough fight regardless of win or loss. I have seen gangully removing t shirt and throwing it on the crowd to show his revenge. But with these guys, there is nothing,no firepower,no ego and no emotions. They just go to field, get hammered and show thier cool smiliy face. I hope dhoni and co atleast get some kind of feeling for win on the eve of Independence day and atleast draw a match if they could do, you cant expect a win with this missfit team.

Dhoni fares poorly in overseas tours
by Varadarajan Ravindran on Aug 12, 2014 02:14 AM  | Hide replies

Dhoni's performance has been uninspiring and poor in overseas tours, particularly to Australia, England and South Africa. The selectors are blind to his poor captaincy and lack of strategy. They should have dropped him from the team after the 4-0 whitewashes he experienced in England and Australia.

Why blame Dhoni?!

Any and every other Indian Cricketer who leads India in this sport from now to eternity is going to follow what Dhoni has to do!

Like it or not, there is rampant corruption in Indian Cricket and all matches a fixed!

We can't expect him or any number of his replacements to play and fight this corruption simultaneously!

This is how the reality is and what we the spectators have to make do with!

Remember, after winning WC for India for the first time, Kapil was removed from captaincy just after a couple of series losses.

Prantu Dhoni will remain captain for the next decade because he won a fixed WC in 6 BC

so kapil should have been given captaincy for life for winning the fixed wc in 1983?

so as each and every match is fixed what difference does it make if dhoni is the captain? :)because even if any other is made captain the result is going to be the same...
