Remember, after winning WC for India for the first time, Kapil was removed from captaincy just after a couple of series losses.

Prantu Dhoni will remain captain for the next decade because he won a fixed WC in 6 BC

so kapil should have been given captaincy for life for winning the fixed wc in 1983?

so as each and every match is fixed what difference does it make if dhoni is the captain? :)because even if any other is made captain the result is going to be the same...

Really curious
by Ajay Prasad on Aug 11, 2014 08:22 PM  | Hide replies

I'm really curious. Can someone tell me if it rained on Day 4 and Day 5 as predicted? If it did rain, it will be terrible that we couldn't bat through day 3

India will lose in one day
by NIRJHAR MAJUMDAR on Aug 11, 2014 08:19 PM

India is playing test matches in T-20 fashion. They have the capability to lose 9 wickets in 28 overs!
If this fine run continues, the test will be ovr in 1 day.
The organisers will lose their money.

Bad Performance
by SHANE on Aug 11, 2014 07:57 PM

First of all we lost momentum in third test by losing easily when it can be saved and making selection blunder by not choosing Ashwin/Ghambhir in the third test. Although they have been selected in 4th but by that time damage has been done by passing on confidence and momentum to England. Then bad decision of choosing to bat in 4th when condition was suitable for bowling. You can't blame Ghambhir/Ashwin in 4th test since they can't be of much help because of series of blunders made by Dhoni. Hope he has not elect to bat on 4th test to put full stop of Ghambhir's carrier. Overall it's blunders of Dhoni is biggest reason of losing this test series. Yeah we are going to lose comfortably in 5th test.

Nothing new for Indian Team
by deepak nadkarni on Aug 11, 2014 07:07 PM

It was a great effort on Indian team's part to win the 2nd test match but loosing 3rd and 4th one is not something new that they hv not done before. They hv been playing like they are playing in IPL ! Nothing is lost yet. By trying to win 5th test match, we can equal the series.

Why to blame Team India
by mahesh negi on Aug 11, 2014 02:28 PM  | Hide replies

Team India record in Test Matches outside sub continent is poor. So why we are blaming them, We all know once they will reach India and start playing on dead pitches they will again be our super star. They can win outside india only when the other teams play badly. See its not about winning or loosing but the way Team India is surrendering, it really hurts to us I can not say the same about the Players because i don't think they really find pride in playing for india. They know very well that we all are idiots, where will we go, after all its the only game we play somehow better than our opponents.

Till the day IPL is played the condition of our players will remain the same. They know that even if they lose, they are still going to play IPL !
Goes without saying the amount of money involved in IPL is equivalent to a hundred test/ ODI'S

I doubt whether this team under the captaincy of Dhoni will be able to win even home Test matches against strong teams.
