India's battng

Not a bad idea if Dhoni or Rahane comes in No. 3 slot if wicket falls early as Pujara and Virat are not in good nick right now

Batting woes & lack of bowling firepower
by Sharath Mohan on Aug 12, 2014 01:39 PM

After Manchester, its pretty much down to face-saving time for Indians. While Vijay & Rahane did a good job in the 1st 2 tests, what in effect they did was to mask the failures of Pujara & Kohli along with Dhawan, but now the entire line-up stands exposed. Also Ishant's one spell turned the Lords match around. After that, India shud have kept Shami in place of Pankaj due to his additional pace and in the last test, Shami with Aaron and Bhuvi would have formed a more effective combination on a wicket which had good pace.

by alan Collaco on Aug 11, 2014 04:10 PM

More than Virat's wretched form, is the no. of catches he has dropped that has hurt India Most.

Middling the ball well?
by pradeep agarwal on Aug 11, 2014 12:25 PM

A batsman who has angled the ball behind the wickets 5 times out of 8 dismissals can only edge. This is typical middle finger approach of Dhoni to fans that he has followed all his career. It is time to say bye to this rather diplomat captain who has let us dwn very badly in all overseas tours

Dhonis recent TEST records (forSunil Vaidya, Rangachari, Sharanu
by Hindustan ka on Aug 11, 2014 12:18 PM  | Hide replies

Matches-18, Win-2, Draw-3, Lost-13

This is for Dhoni's fans who thinks that he is the best captain of India. He enjoyed all the fruits planted by Sourav Ganguly. Now his garden is filled with rotten(CSK) fruits..

dhoni's whitewashes were thanks to all the rotten fruits that were supposedly planted by sourav ganguly...

dhoni's supposedly rotten fruits gave him 4-0 whitewash against clarke's australian team and also the test win in this series...

When you drop a player who has saved you a Test and that too on his debut what can you expect except defeat !

Sucks to see the complete non-application of skill on the field. The coach should also be held responsible for the loss.
