Even as Dhoni & co.are enjoying their ‘positive’ of two days rest the English press is rubbing salt on the wounds of defeat pouring ridicule on them over the Jadeja-Anderson spat. The Indian media on the other hand is in no mood to spare them lightly either. Thus the Indian side is getting bashed up from both side or rather from all sides with nowhere to hide . Actually no one is ready to reconcile with the listless display of cricket in the two Tests by the Indians coming post their Lord’s historic win. Evidently it has to be the ‘dismal Batting’ which has to take precedence over all other many reasons such as --inexperience, young side, poor bowling, fielding, captaincy issues….and so on. A Test match cannot be won making around 150-160 runs in each innings or 4-5 wickets falling in a heap in both innings for 8 just to 13 runs! On the top of it the captain cool not just missing catches, easy run outs behind the stump but his ‘cranky’ bowling changes and field settings too look totally illogical raising many eyebrows. On the 2nd day especially after lunch everyone expected Ashwin to hold tight one end while VA,BK & PS operated from the other4 end . But he had some bizarre bowling plans. He picks Binny, Ashwin etc. but they don’t get enough bowling. Invariably he plays wrong playing XI ---for the 3rd Test from where all the problems started.
