Kallis was genuine all rounder
by Sameer Shaikh on Aug 04, 2014 10:19 PM

Throughout his career Kallis remained an overweight player with his weight around 92-100 KG with double chine and body fat. It may be because he likes food specially non vegetarian.
Many Indians would give up this idea of even running around with such heavy body as it will lead to join pains, short breathing and more injury.

But here is one person who batted long, then came to bowl and was one of the best fielder in South Africa and some of the catches he took was breathtaking specially Afridi catch in sharjah. He was a pillar of strength in batting against fast and spin bowling.

Kallis proved to fat people that see even with such heavy body you can motivate yourself to strive for best.

Indian people, the world and universe salute this greatest allrounder to have played in the history of cricket with such dedication and selflessly.

Now Kallis one request, loose your weight after watching zero size figure of Aamir Khan on railway track in PK

Yes. I agree. He was the most complete all rounder of all time. Most selfless cricketer. He could have played for one more series in test and could have become all time 2nd in no. of runs. but didn't. I Salute you Sir. The Game of Cricket will miss you. Bid u farewell.
