Comparing Sachin and Bradman
by bharat rao on Apr 24, 2014 10:09 AM  | Hide replies

It is utter madness to compare the two.Whilst there will be indian sycophants and fans of Sachin who will draw such parallels,Bradman who had average of 99 in test cricket was miles ahead of Sachin.

comparing Sachin with Bradman

This is utter madness. Though both have played at different eras but Sachin is no way near to Bradman. DON's record speaks about him. If he would have got covered pitches, opponents like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Jimbaboye, he would have a test average of 150.

bradman is the best player not only in cricket but all the sports, having average of 100 & the next best is 60, tendulkar could have been greatest if all the batsman of his era were having average of 30.

Sachin better than Bradman
by Umesh Sadasivam on Apr 24, 2014 09:53 AM

Yes, Sachin is better than Bradman. Even though we cannot compare the two greats, considering the aspects like carrying the expectations of the entire nation in his shoulders for such a long period, battling alone in mid 90's....Sachin is definitely better

Unarguably Sachin is the best cricketer. But we should not compare sir Bradman with him, both are from different era.

Bradman's resilience

just remember that Bradman played with no restricted fielding, no restricted bouncers, no covered pitches and could not play for many years due to world war. even during bodyline series had an average of 52.

Sachin better than ....

Why compare the two geniuses? Taking the period in which they were born, played games the comparison is unnecessary. p.t.shukla
