Players have to prove themselves and play well in important matches like world cups. If they do not play well people will blame them. Take the best 11 on that day instead of past glory.Gambhir who lost his place in the Indian team only because of poor form cannot comment on somebody. Both Tendulkar and Gambhir may support Mr.UV. Nobody said No..We say only one thing select the best team available but do not please do not go by BIG names. It is only possible for Tendulkar to get selected irrespective of his scoring abilities.

India was not chasing that Yuvraj slowed it down. Were it not for Kohli's inning, the total score would have been dismal. Stop making people scapegoats to vent your anger, frustration and disappointment. Just acceptthe fact that the better team in that match won. End of story.

No team is invincible. Would the result have changed if Yuvi fired a quickfire 20 or got out early. Even if we had scored 160 , it could have still been chased by Lankans, since the wicket started to go bit fast. Frankly, we were lucky enough to be in the finals, by facing SA known for its 'chokers tag' and thanks largely to a minor error by Du Plesis of putting Parnel to bowl the over instead of Steyn thinking that Raina was just in. Else who knows, we might have had a tough time against SL in the SF itself. SL have a variety of players to suit the conditions of Bangladesh. Further, toss was crucial, on flat and slower tracks we could have better chased. SL played better on that day. Trying to find out a scapegoat in Yuvraj makes no sense.

None of the Indians played well except for Virat Kohli.

Ajinkya 3/8, Dhoni 4/7, Yuvraj 11/21, Sharma 29/26 all were below par performances where every wicket and ball counts..

Certainly. But he is not the only one to be blamed. Dhoi is equally responsible for the fiasco.Knowing well Yuvi's current form,He should have sent either Rina or himself ahead of Yuvi, seeing the situation India was in at that time.

It's Dhoni

Dhoni was the biggest culprit. His overly blind trust in Yuvi. ANd on top of tht he promotes himself ahead of Raina.. Raina is 50 times better slogger then Dhoni.. And Dhoni is an average T20 player- just check the stats....
