though I am not opposed to Virat koli .. Our own R Ashwin should have been man of the match... he once again proved why he is no 1 bowler in the world...when others were going for runs our Ashwu bowled brilliantly...and put the brake on SA batsmen.... he should be player of the tournament as he singlehandedly won all matches for India... there is a salute for you
"I wanted to play an important knock when the team had entered the semis. I was in good form, so I though it is better that I stay till the end. In T20, it is very important that a batsman stays till the end. It's not like there was no pressure. It wasn't easy. Pressure was there. But it is important that you don't show it to the opponents. They are a world-class attack and the slightest mistake against them can cost you. I just wanted to stay calm and was keen to back myself."
What a wonderful comment from a young man who has been in international cricket only for the last 5/6 years. I still remember the pressure getting reflected on the face of a guy who played longest for Indian cricket and, invariably he failed to deliver when the team needed.

Well, I saw the game today and,no point of time, there was any indication on Kohli's face that he was under pressure. Fantastic maturity for a player of his age and within a short duration in the international circuit. Well, for someone, who played international cricket for about 24 years, the pressure was evident on his face, and invariably,l he used to fail in pressure situations. Hats off to Virat Kohli.

hehehe... imagine the times he failed... it was far lesser than the times he succeeded... also, those days there were no match winners in the team apart from him... today there are lots of players viz., dhoni, Raina, Yuvi , Rohit etc to take over even if Virat fails particularly in T20 as well as 50 over matches...
India are doing a black bull run like the symbolic statue at the Mumbai Stock Exchange BSE.....totally unstoppable in 4th gear !! Can anybody stop them at all !! Hail Indian Cricket !!!

You got their small weakness....thats an overseas allergy, buddy....no cure for that unfortunately :-(
he he he he,Hashim Amla was bamboozled by what you can call as one among the best delivery in the history of T20 cricket by Ashwin. I will surely keep watching the replay of this delivery for some more days.
he he he he,just one good example of how this team enjoys each other's success - Dhoni tamely blocking the one delivery he faced when one run was required and his facial expression to Kohli telling him "you deserve to score the winning run". It is very clear that every member of this Indian team believe that team winning is more important than individual records.
he he he he,Dhoni rightly said it was not just about self belief but belief in each other. Just about a year ago it was about only one person trying to corner all the glory by any means. This present Indian team enjoys each other's success.
For Kohli, it's very clear from his body language that the team's success is more imporatnt than anything else and that becomes infectious on all the other members. Today, Kohli's knock was brilliantly paced.Just about 3 out of 44 deliveries that he faced were dot and all the others chipped in with useful contributions. India is the best team equipped to challenge the Sri Lankan spin bowling. All the best and I don't like Sri Lanka winning.

Well, most of these current Indian players have come up from the shorter format and you can't expect them to adjust to test cricket and, more so,in overseas. Most of the other teams are also facing this problem. Can you ask South Africa to face India in India or Pakistan in Pakistan?

well,if we understand the game, we start loving the game. Once we start loving the game, we start appreciating good performances irrespective of his nationality. After all,two teams play only once can win.
Re: Time to play back Mohd Shami for the finals

Yes, I agree with you, Mohd Shami should come in place of M Sharma. You surely need one good fast bowler.
