I think shikhar dhawan should play simply because their main spinner i.e imran tahir is a leg spinner so its easy for a left hander to face him as he is also bowling in start of the innings.But shikhar should try and play good cricketing shots rather than trying to slog every ball.
rohit sharma got lots of chances but he did good but dhawan flop for last 15 inings except one.why should we give him chance at such a critical moment.now chance for rahane he is good in all conditions.shami no doubt fast bowler but cost lots of run .
SA will not be able to sustain our lethai spin attack of Ashwin , Mishra & Jadeja & will lose . They are well known CHOKERS . Steyn factor will not play much role as pitch dosen't help fast bowling .

Given yesterdays play, toss will be crucial.. needs to be seen if dhoni who prefers fielding, wud go for batting first ! Who knows India might choke ! BTW ALL THE BEST TEAM INDIA
Shami must play as he is the best fast blower of India no doubt . Dhawan and Rohit left right combination is an advantage and Shekhar Dhawan played well in SA ,but his confidence level is low that worries me . If India fields first ,then include Dhawan otherwise Rahane .

For india the mantra would be to get the original team back with dhawan and rohit opening the innings. I strictly feel that India should bat first after winning the toss.
In order to ensure consistent performance from first 11 selected players I guess it is necessary to give a message to every player who is dropped in previous match about how costly It is to regain his lost place therefore I guess there is no point to include Shikhar and Shammi immediately back again only after dropping for one match

Less than Jadeja/Ashvin 72. Strike rate, similar to Dravid/Laxman. * Tell me on what ground he should continue picked up in team. he is nothing more than a burden for the team...

20-20... 8 Matches 193 Runs Average. 24 One half century 122 Strike rate... Absolutely pathetic numbers in both form of the game. I am trying to find the reason why should be in team on above but sorry to say I failed and failed badly...

Test matches, he has scored a hundred against Newzealand and near hundred in South Africa in alien conditions, he has got a better technique and temperament... he has been a successful T20 batsman for Rajasthan Royals, since many batsmen got many chances despite many failures, it is fair that we need to Rahane a decent run in a particular spot on a consistent basis, if not in this T20 worldcup but later as he is a promising batsman than many batsmen who succeed only in the Sub Continent...
