Sachin is respected & will be respected, but he is no bigger than our country that needs victory & run makers to win matches. So if he do not perform there is no point in keeping him like a showpiece.
BCCI stalwarts or whatever you call them, have no guts to ignore S.T. Simple as it is. Blaming media for anything and everything has become a fashion now. If there is communal riot, if there is fall in Indian Rupee, rise in Petrol, rise in price of Onion, all are blamed on social media and Media... shame on you BCCI.

Stop speculating on Sachin's retirement till Dhoni has a son and he grows up and plays with Sachin.Till that time everyone is requested to mind their own business.
With due respect to little master, it's time to hang boot's. He already missed the opportunity to do the same after world cup win as far as ODI's are concerned. Can we imagine Australian board giving leeway to Waugh brother's, Taylor, Ponting and even the great bevan was shoveled as if they never existed. This is called professionalism in competitive sport's. Players were revered as long as they were performing and as soon as they stopped performing door was shown.

Tendulkar must be feeling SAD after seeing Rohit getting 150 Chances in all format of the game and still surviving. I don't know about his cricketing talent as it never translated on field but something must be right about him as he is the survivor.
Over more than two decades Tendulkar has performed very well with the bat both in the Tests and ODIs. He has delighted many cricket fans all over the world with his wonderful exploits. He has made records some of which will probably never been broken. Even today there is no doubt about his talent, but the problem is at this age his mind may be willing but after years of wear and tear that affects your body your reflexes become slow which affects your performance. He has not performed well in the last twelve tests and scored his last century in 2010. How much leeway he can be given especially when his continued non-performance is badly affecting the team. At the same time by insisting to play even at this age, he is delaying the career of a young batsme
Who are we to seek the retirement of Sachin. He knows better about his game and body then any of us. On his part he has even retired from ODI's. He has in fact retired from T20 with his announcement that the last IPL was his final one. The only form of game where he is continuing is Test and let's understand that in this form he is still required. He has scored 80 on a number of occassions in the last 2 years. Besides if the selectors feel he is no for fit to make it to the team, they should drop him and let him play in Ranji trophy. He decision to continue to play has nothing to do with greatness. It's simply his fondness for the game. Please let the man decide aout his own innings. Till then relax and enjoy because there would not be another Sachin to grace the gentleman's game.
