In 1997, BCCI had appointed retired SC Chief Justice YV Chandrachud as a one-man committee of inquiry to probe the allegations of rampant fixing. He refused to meet the policeman who had taped evidence : “It is not in my brief.”
In the year 2003, DV Subba Rao probed the allegation that Abhijit Kale had offered bribes to two selectors. Rao did not meet a single person who could have shed light on the question. Why? “The terms of reference have been restricted, so the inquiry will be limited to only those three persons,”
How could the story be different in 2013 with judges to probe meticulously chosen by Mr Srinivasan?

If he could have done any good thing Srinivasan would have said that he is my son-in-law. Now he is talking like this to save his seat of BCCI President.
