I do not know whether the moderator also is on the paylist since any message which do not toe to his line gets discarded. If this trend continues, thee is no point in people watching rediff and wasting time - pvsrao

why
by DEVIGARH CLUB on Sep 19, 2013 12:35 PM  | Hide replies

The question is why the media is making such big noise for so called Sachin Tendulkar.is his record an extra ordinary? no if we watch carefully south African allrounder Jac Kallis is very close to him n I think if Sachin retires now thn with in 2 to 3 yrs his record will be broken by kallis,so Sachin is not waiting for 200th test but he is waiting for kallis to retire,

Yes, but in the long run, Virat Kohli might also break his records, so can Alastair Cook also do it easily.

Why special treatment...
by Rohit ezhuthachan on Sep 19, 2013 12:18 PM

We have a selection committee...
We have elite members to decide who to play..
We have captains who decides whom to be sent to bat...
We have our Chairman to decide fate of players..

Why should we give a special treatment to one of the umpteen players...
He has already got a seat in Rajya Sabha... where he has attened only twice.
There are many spaces reserved for him. He should be elite to say .Bye...bye... not a shameless charected to stay on... till public kicks him...

Salute your Duty
by Selvaraj Saravanakumar on Sep 19, 2013 12:07 PM

As long as the race horse runs yielding profitability it should run,
But here in Tendulkar case, unwanted hype is created by media & advertisers even in his down performing circumstances, to squeeze out the public money with this dummy doll.
As Mr. Kalam said “If You Salute your Duty, You no need to salute Anybody” But “If You pollute your Duty You have to Salute Everybody”.

Time to go
by subramani ganesan on Sep 19, 2013 12:04 PM

its time for Sachin to go and from the way things stand he is not taking that call voluntary which would be a grace ful thing to do considering his stature, since he has not shown any signs of the same it is time that the selectors give him a firm notice to go. I believe it would be a legitimate thing to do.
