It is better that you do that before the selectors rush to do that. Frankly, I feel the media should lay the issue to rest. There is no need for him to retire. The selectors can simply decide to drop him when he is not needed. Whether he wants to go through the ignominy of being eased out unceremoniously is entirely his call.

I guess today no one in BCCI(including Srinivasan ) has guts in asking him to retire from Indian cricket I guess because of his good cricket career BCCI should on him only to decide about his retirement

He already has commercial contracts ongoing and recently he has signed to promote BMW cars.
Why these companies would like him to be off the field? Dhoni & Co will have to carry him for the commercial interest of the companies whom Tendulkar is promoting.

dhoni licks the ground on which bcci and their chamchas walk. if he has to make money, he has to support tingu
SACHIN SHOULD CONCENTRATE ON DOING WHAT HE DOES BEST IE SCORING RUNS. GETTING SELECTED OR NOT IS THE SELECTORS JOB. WHY THE HUE AND CRY OVER HIS RETIREMENT OR SELECTION? SACHIN SHOULD BE JUDGED WITHIN THE SAME YARDSTICK AS ANY OTHER PLAYER. IF THE SELECTOR FEEL HE IS NOT PERFORMING DROP HIM. FOR WHAT HE HAS ALREADY ACHIEVED HE IS ALWAYS RESPECTED LIKE ANY OTHER GREAT PLAYER.
