Sachin on his current form does not merit selection. It is therefore immaterial if he wish to retire or not. This hype around Sachin before every series is harming the interest of team India & media must behave more responsibly.

donot say like this what he had done for this nation the world knows very well
STOP CRYING SACHIN HATERS... WHAT THIS MAN HAS DONE FOR INDIAN CRICKET SINGLE HANDEDLY NO OTHER CRICKETER CAN IMAGINE DOING SO... SO JUST STOP TALKING ABOUT A LEGEND. GIVE HIM DA RESPECT HE DESERVES.
As commented by Ashish Singh in these coloumns,TOI has also raised the point of Sachin retiring from all forms of cricket after playing his 200th test at home. For the last 2 years Sachin has been in very poor form, any other cricketer would have been shown the door, but he has tremendous clout and comes from Mumbai, the HQ of BCCI. Out of blue came the announcement of the WI tour of India in Nov 2013, with a schedule of 2 tests, the right number for Sachin to fullfil his dream of 200 tests.Hope the WI fast bowlers Roach,Taylor, Edwards,& Rampaul oblige Sachin by not injuring him in the series.

They have been warned that any balll above knee height to tendy will be called a noball
Well, smart decision by BCCI...But SRT is a real man then he should continue to play Test cricket and visit SA.. else, people will be convinced he was just waiting for the 200th test match to call it a day.. that would be shame**ful act..
Whether Tendulkar plays his 200th test or score another century will be his personal achievements. Only will lead him to endorse a few more brands. Will Indian cricket benefit? The Little Master has grown too old, he needs rest
