Oh come on have some respect for a player who gave 24 years of his life to the game. Nobody has ever said that Dravid's or Sourav's or Dhoni's contribution to the game is not valued. It is just that Sachin has been a perfect ambassador of the game and not only Indian's but all the other cricket playing nations and their legends are just acknowledging his contribution. Respect can never be manufactured.
when he made his Ranji debut. He made the School record itself (with Kambli) when he was just past 15. He made his Ranji debut after the school record, not before.

no use ..he already declared himself selected in the playing 11. he sets one of the bad example for the country. He should have declared the statement that if i got selected..but he himself said that 200th test is last..his last 2 and years performance is below average. if team needs to be selected based on performance then he should not be there but in india anything can happen..

I think neelamegham is 100 % correct...hopefully Dhoni will show courage and not include him in the playing eleven ...otherwise he will be playing with 10 players.

Sachin is OLD!
His eye sight is failing from sitting and counting all the money he makes!
To make matters worse, he is being forced to learn how to read and write by his wife!
For 24 years Sachin had an excuse not to learn to read and write but with him declaring his retirement, Mrs. Sachin has been on him like Bay-tal on Vikram to get educated!
This constant harassment has taken toll on his batting.
If his final test had not been fixed, he would be out for zero in it!
