It is quite natural that the aged will back to pavillion and the new(ROHIT/DHAWAN/DHONI)will fulfill the blank.Occasion may be celebrated and he should be awarded. But at that time we should think the total tenure of Sachin which may be not yet been availed by any other cricketer.Pls. see the victims of Phalain and the others in the country.Because Sachin earned a lot but they earned nothing. Is it not ?
you were simply great till WC 2011 - then the weight of the 1100th ton got on your back and affected your mentally and physically till all manner of bowlers were getting you out. then your 100th 100 was againt lowly bangladesh where you played for your 100th 100, not for your team. for nearly 3 whole years, you denied a place to another more deserving - as imran khan said, you should have retired on a high after WC 2011 but look at your record after WC 2011 - why?
