why did vengsarkar did not play it. He claimed he had food poisoning due to eating fish. Mike Getting was surprised that vengaskar did not take care of himself before such an important match
He's taking names like Mehmood and Jaywant Lele, who are both no more. None of the other team members (barring Kapil) who were present when Dawood walked in, has ever mentioned about this.

Why such hatred for Maha'rain? I have been living in Mumbai all my life and I did not experienced such things. Politics has nothing to do with caste..
Unfortunately, Chetna Sharma fixed the match for a Merc or BMW.. handed over the last ball six to Miandad.. Indian players lost the Toyotas but Chetna Sharma got a BMW..;-)..
