Thats why cricket is still considered as an old game
by venky on Oct 26, 2013 02:04 PM

When you know its been raining for a week why would you come from ranchi wasting flight tickets and hotel instead stay back and play an another game, this is why cricket has been considered as a boring game by western countries, they don't allow mordern thinking or innovation to take place, there are few old men governing this game who want to follow the rules bluntly without thinking, the same thing when you have technology in place you don't like to use..all these kinda of old thinking has brought this game to be played by few countries..

Why not change the venue??
by adam smith on Oct 25, 2013 05:04 PM  | Hide replies

BCCI knew during the Ranchi match that the match in Cuttack could also be a washout. They had 3 days to change the venue. Why didn't they?

Forethought does not seem to be the forte of BCCI.

Boss when u know that rain wont give you a respite, you can always change the venue.Three days are more than enough. Can BCCI officially announce that changing venue was impossible. Then i think you should make your statement.

I'm certainly not kidding!

They succeeded in shifting the whole IPL to South Africa within a week or so. So why not a match within India?

Or does BCCI need a Lalit Modi to do it!!!

What a brilliant idea. I think BCCI president to vacate the chair and ask u to take over so that u can organise it.
